"Didn’t realise Hotel was part of Catholic Church site. Bedroom was basic and bed really uncomfortable. Room was clean, and breakfast was good because of the bed I wouldn’t stay again, shame as the building was amazing"

"Couldn't fault the staff for helpfulness. But the room we were in was falling apart, holes in the walls, window didn't stay shut, light didn't work and the switch was showing wiring. The whole place feels past it's best. Breakfast very nice."

"The lady on reception was so helpful, she must have 5 different roles in the hotel. Receptionist, cleaning, even ironed my clothes for work! The hotel itself dated, I was only there for an overnight stay so not an issue for solo travel. I wouldn’t recommend for a family though. The stairs were very steep going to the top floor. Could be an issue for some. It’s right next to Headingly stadium so check for events in case you get caught in traffic like I did!"
