Brilliant place to stay, Raj was awesome :) Only negative was the bed - fine for me on my own as a bit wobbly but if I was with someone else it might’ve been a bit tricky. But in all other aspects brilliant. And would definitely stay again!

The reason my stay was disappointing is because i never stayed there has expedia had put the wrong price up so 4 weeks before our stay the guest house cancelled on us. Not happy with expedia!!!

Nice but noisy.

The staff were friendly and helpful but we literally got no sleep at all as every 60 seconds there was a loud clanking noise from dodgy pipe work that was ridiculously noisy. It ruined our trip as we were too tired to enjoy the lovely sights of York. Breakfast was nice and the staff kindly let us leave our bags there while we spent the day in town.

Very Good Value

Warm, clean, comfortable room, albeit room is a bit small and very small shower room, but shower was very good. Very functional for what we needed visiting family within walking distance from the Guest House.

central location 10 minutes walk from York Minster

very friendly gentlemen running this place, no significant complaints. No luxury/nice touches. Booked family room with double and 3 single beds - only double and two single beds in the room. Needed to make up the sofa bed ourselves. Has TV, kettle with cups etc. Everything there, nothing missing. Clean. Decor is not modern and breakfast served on melamine plates soon cold.

Room was basic with very small en suite bathroom but owners were very helpful and allowed us to leave luggage there while we went into the center of York. Beds were comfortable and sheets clean. They had a very good full English breakfast for 5 pounds. I would definitely stay there again. Short walk to Jorvik center and York Minster but took a taxi to the train station for around 5 pounds. No air conditioning but we had a ground floor room which was cool enough even though it was in the 80's outside.

Short walk to city centre, and a bonus to have free parking. Small room but clean bedding and towels. For the price, it was good.

B and b close to centre of York

Well-located b and b just 10 minutes walk from the centre of York. Free parking a welcome bonus. Comfortable room and good breakfast, nothing to dislike.
