"The hotel would say that it is almost perfect, excellent food and beautiful facilities. The staff is first class. The only thing I can say about the negative hotel is that it doesn't have much to do as a family and let me explain, we are a married couple with only one daughter and the places for teenagers are only for teenagers and there is nothing in the hotel to be able to spend the night as a family entertained with our daughter. They should have more areas where you can spend time with your family, for example some game room or bowling area or some escape room would be ideal to spend the nights with the family as well as having televisions in the lobby area they only had televisions in the sport bar and one is not always in the mood to be in places with a lot of noise. Everything else is perfect."

"This hotel property is definitely geared towards those with children. We had five children with us so it was perfect. We rented a cabana and were well taken care of. Drinks are delicious and Armando and Jorge with bar service were awesome. They made countless blue sprites for our grandsons. The entertainment staff made sure to keep everybody involved, who wanted to be involved. The sargassum was very thick but they tried to keep it cleaned up, but it was impossible as it just kept rolling in, June’s that time of year. Our room was always kept clean and fresh. Towels were never a problem and beach/pool chairs were never an issue. The restaurants served great food, particularly Viggo and Casa de Rose. Poolside food was delicious. One of the downsides was that air conditioning was not very prevalent all of the restaurants in common areas. The nightly entertainment was great in that room was air-conditioned. We had a great vacation here!"

"Definitely the best adult only destination, amazing staff best food, super clean, very friendly. The only thing I will do music in the party no later than 1 AM because it gets super loud and cannot sleep. Other than that. I will definitely recommend I will go again and again very friendly people all around must try."

"We did not like this resort. There are only two different restaurants other than the buffet. It is difficult to get a same day reservation even though they say no problem before 4pm. We tried at 1pm. We got tired of the buffet! The staff at the buffet is good! There is no option for food outside. You have to be fully clothed to eat anything which is not ideal at a beach resort when you are swimming. The resort is more geared toward Mexican people than Americans. The music, activities, etc. They almost solely speak Spanish. I speak Spanish but still not ideal service for Americans. There is no swim up bar or infinity pool. The room option 2X2 connecting rooms is a good option with teens. Definitely no nigh life at this hotel or many teens. It was hard to get more than two towels per room. For prospective we usually stay at a RIU and are always happy! We won't deviate from RIU again."
