"Very disappointing stay – not worthy of its rating
Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing and far below expectations.
The breakfast selection was extremely limited. There was hardly any choice – even simple options for children, such as pancakes, were not available. Only one type of omelet was offered, and everything felt very basic. If you arrived later for breakfast, much of the food was already gone and was not properly replenished.
The room cleanliness was unacceptable. The bed linen had visible stains, there was dust and rubbish under the bed, and the wardrobe doors had strange red stains that looked like blood. The refrigerator was not working, and neither was the air conditioning. Our room faced directly onto the metro, tram, and train lines, making it almost impossible to sleep because of the constant noise.
Daily housekeeping was supposed to be included, but during our five-day stay, our room was not cleaned even once. The bed linen was never changed, and tea and coffee supplies were never refilled. At the coffee station, there were even used empty coffee cups left out.
We had booked and paid for a larger, more comfortable room, but all the rooms we received were identical, with no sign of the upgraded category we had reserved.
The service was poor overall. We requested takeaway breakfast because we had an early flight, but the hotel refused to prepare anything for us.
