"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Nicht alles ist ganz neu, aber das unterstreicht den Charme des Hauses. Highlights waren für uns die große mit Wein überwachsene Terrasse und die vielen schattigen Plätzchen, z.B. unter dem Orangenbaum am Pool. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Matratzen in den Betten waren für uns eher hart, das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert."

"Maria cares deeply about your visit and responds to any need. The house is wonderful with a lovely fruit and vegetable garden in the backyard. It is a very short 3 minute walk to the center of the beach and our favorite taverna, Mythos. There was a reserved parking place for our rental car at all times. The outdoor shower was fantastic. I highly recommend this property and hope to visit again!"

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

Nestled in the foothills surrounded by olive orchards at about 1100 feet above sea level. We were there for 18 days. We discovered a Taverna (Mina's) in Garazo about 15 minutes away. "I felt at home immediately, and it`s seems bigger than on the pictures, very comfy bed and two bathrooms/shower with toilet. Kitchen was fully equiped. I found lots of goodies - herbs, tea, coffee shampoo,bodylotion etc.. But bring your own repellent the outdoor pool attractive for mosquitos. Very nice sitting area outside to relax and enjoy the pool. Vivi offered a shuttle servis from the parkinglot to the house, a steep 100 m walk. She drove my luggage with her Mini up to the house. "Wer einen Erholungsurlaub inmitten einer archaischen Natur erleben möchte, ist in diesem sehr gut ausgestatteten, wunderschönen Haus genau richtig. Völlige Stille, nur durchbrochen von blökenden Schafen oder krächzenden Krähen... Nur hin und wieder ein vorbeiklapperndes Auto. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch Henriette war perfekt und sehr herzlich und auch der Kontakt zum Vermieter unkompliziert und sehr zuverlässig. Touristische Infrastruktur ist - bei Bedarf - im Ort mehr als genug vorhanden."
