"Got the room option with private bathroom very basic but good for what we needed. Felt safe and it was super convenient to everything. Hostel vibes with friendly staff and a restaurant right next door. If you want a place to rest your head between adventures this is it. "

"Great location, walking distance to entrance of Monteverde Cloud Forest! The front desk person was very sweet and helpful in guiding us - from parking in the property to where to eat and how to navigate the park. Staying here was a surreal experience, like you’re in the jungle/rainforest itself. We initially booked a normal room but asked whether we would have a kitchenette and the staff was very nice to upgrade us to the one bedroom apartment. "The host Roy was so helpful and nice. The Family cabin was clean and had lots of beds. The standard cabin was smaller but nice as well. Do be aware that in some of the cabins the only bathroom is on the 2nd floor, up a steep stairs. This was fine for younger folks but was difficult for my older parents. We loved the grounds and trails, we saw so many birds, butterflies, and pretty flowers. It was a quite and safe area and a very good price."
