"After traveling 10 hours by bus from Cartagena, I was relieved to have arrived at Pavo Real. A wonderful vegetarian restaurant was on site and I got the room with a private pool. Such a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is happy and you are well taken care of. I’d stay again! I loved it here. The room was clean and cleaned daily. Easy to walk to town and you can eat every meal at the hotel if you don’t want to eat in the main town proper. I’d definitely recommend staying here!"

"Great place to go for peace and quiet, but it’s far from everything- so it depends on what you’re looking for. The staff was really wonderful— incredibly attentive,. My only criticism would be the rooms need a bit of an upgrade. The netting in the room needs to be washed more often. The food was great overall it was a wonderful experience."

"Wonderful hotel/hostel close to Tayrona. The private rooms have large floor to ceiling windows, and it was magical to watch the lightning and thunderstorms at night. Our room was very comfortable, and we loved the hammocks and outdoor seating as well. The restaurant served great food, and it was nice to have room service on extra stormy nights. "The owner of the hotel is really nice and helpful. If you like nature this is the correct place to stay since is in the middle of the mountains. We really enjoyed being there!!! 😊"
