"Had an excellent stay here! The rooms are spacious and well decorated, staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and its located right off highway 101 with easy access to all of Humboldt County. Great for those who appreciate historic hotels and vintage vibes. Extra great if you happen to love Twin Peaks/David Lynch—very those vibes. "

"This is a budget motel, and about as good as this kind of establishment gets. The room was spacious, the furnishings and fixtures modern. The extra-large refrigerator had a large separate freezer. The kitchen area had a toaster and two counter-top burners. There were numerous power outlets for charging devices. The room was very clean. The bath had a real tub, which I prefer. The main drawback was the closeness to the road. But the windows (with blackout curtains) were double-glazed, and traffic...

"The owners were very sweet and accommodating. The room was great. The heater was noisy, but I closed the bedroom door and put my earplugs in. The handle on the shower was hard to operate. I would suggest more lighting going down the stairs to my car. But overall, I thought the place was charming and saw a doe and her FAWN in the morning. It also would’ve been nice to have some ice in the refrigerator."
