"My wife and I drove down to South Carolina to see our son graduate from the Marines. Our hotel was located in Hilton Head which was very nice and had plenty of shopping also the drive wasn't too far from restaurants. If going to watch your child graduate from the Marines beware that this location is about a 45 minutes to an hour drive from Parris Island depending on traffic.
