"The Hotel was easy to find, reasonable car parking available."

"Room disappointing., very clincal. Booked king room with kitchenette. There is no comfortable seating area. Shower room is good quality and modern. Bed is rock hard and uncomfortable. Kitchenette is lacking most basic items. Cheapest of plastic drinking + wine glasses?. Main door directly onto car park is positioned a couple of feet from the bed, the glass window in + above the door flood in light during the night which is very disturbing."

"Beautiful restoration of an old building with more work to be done on the windows and sills. Lovely, welcoming owners who were very helpful with any of our needs. Breakfast requirements texted the night before and ready for us at the specified time. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom with easy to use shower. Car parking space. What's not to like?"

"Lovely stay in the dog friendly deluxe room. Very comfortable, clean and well decorated room. The room has it's own parking space and is only about 10 minutes walk down to the centre of Bowness. Hosts are very friendly but leave you to enjoy the room in peace with the proviso that they are only a message away should you need anything. They are happy to provide any information on the local area required. They even provide dog bed, bowls and towel though we had brought our own. We will definitely...
