"We were booked for 2 nights at this property. It is quite near to the Bowness pier and the shops and restaurants. The rooms are spread across cottages and rooms in the main building with reception and restaurant/bar in a separate building. Even though near the centre it is quiet. Staff is great and welcoming! Good breakfast options. The hot breakfast is cooked on order and rest is in a buffet. All in all very comfortable stay and location can serve as a base for exploring other parts of Lake District. "

"I had a very comfortable stay. The room was a generous size with an excellent bed, and I appreciated the in-room touches—tea and coffee, a fridge, and a smart TV with iPlayer and Netflix. Parking spaces at the front were difficult to get, but the overflow car park at the neighbouring hotel is just a short walk away and worked well for me. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience."
