"Everything about this property made you want to stay longer. The river, different birds and animals. Very quiet, no autos going by at any time. Will be going back"

"Downstairs looks to have recently been renovated and looked nice. However, the carpet in master bedroom on mainfloor needs cleaning or replacing. Outside around cabin needed to be mowed - weeds and growth were overgrown. Outside light at keypad check-in was blown out so had to use a flashlight to see keypad to get in the door after dark."

"The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The view of the lake was beautiful. We stayed in December, so had a clear view. Working with the caretaker was excellent. He answered all questions quickly. King sized bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had every supply you could need. We liked that it was in a gated community with a guard at the gate 24 hours. Biggest drawback and the reason we will not go back, was the very steep and narrow roads which had confusing street names. Sometimes changing...

"The cabin is beautiful and was very clean. It was nicely set up with some basic seasonings in the kitchen and soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms which is better than most rentals we have used. Our host Bruce was great. We will definitely be back to rent either this place or another of the places he manages! "

"This cabin was well maintained and is in the Bear Paw community. The property manager was very helpful. Be sure and get the Wifi password as cell coverage is spotty in the area. There is room for parking one vehicle and drive is paved. Great location for exploring Southwest North Caroline and Southeast Tennessee. 30 minutes from Murphy which is a very nice small town."
