"The owner greeted us and provided a tour of the premises when we arrived at 4pm. Dinner was served at 6pm. So it is possible to have a brief onsen if you arrive on time. Note, the onsens are separated by gender and switch each day. One is double the size of the other. So, it worth trying both. It is a truely authentic experience.
