"It was a great location to the bus (5 min walk) and from lots of cute and yummy food places! Staff was really friendly and the room was decorated very nicely. The AC was minimal, but just enough to somewhat cool us down. I think the AC situation is just standard for Rome unfortunately. We came in August and in a heatwave so I’m sure if you come a different time of year it would be refreshing enough."

"Hotel Magic was very conveniently located within walking distance to the train station. It was clean and the price was good. Lots of stairs to get up to the 3rd floor and the elevator is so small that it barely fits luggage. Our AC didn't work and it was a heat wave in Italy. The shower also didn't drain so water over flowed everywhere. Good for a quick stay."
"I was a little skeptical at first because the outside of the hotel looks beat up and old. After getting inside however, it is super clean, it has AC and a 24/7 bar. It is really close to the train station that gets you to the airport and the bus stop to the city is right around the corner. Also there is a supermarket right behind the hotel which I would recommend going to so you can buy drinks and snacks for a fraction of what they cost somewhere else. "Location was fantastic (beautiful neighborhood with lots of restaurants/cafes nearby, and very close to Vatican City). Amenities (like breakfast) were basic but adequate. Staff at the front desk were beyond friendly and top-notch (the best part of our stay). Rooms were older but comfortable. A few could use very minor repairs to address inconveniences (ex: soap tray was broken in one of the showers, and one of the windows woudn't close fully). Value was there for the price.
