"The stay was a throw back to the 60s when I first traveled Europe. It’s a family run business for generations. They were extremely warm and accommodating. We needed to take the train early the next morning, and the station was within walking distance. Breakfast is generous. I didn’t even mind having to share a bathroom, as all guests were seasoned travelers and respectful. Charming"

"An absolute gem of a little place! Sadly, only got to stay for one day and night but had a great experience. Welcomed by Ana, who was friendly and very helpful. Left our cases in the luggage room and spent a very hot but relaxing afternoon by the pool. The pool was surprisingly large and appreciated in the heat. Thoroughly enjoyed the buffet style food in the restaurant in the evening, plenty of choice - fresh salads, hot options of fish, chicken and pasta and tasty desserts. A bargain at €17...

"The Dom Bernado is well located near to the Center of Faro. The Reception-Staff is very,very polite and helpful. The room was specious, very clean and quiet. Sure we will stay in Dom Bernado again! Everything is fine with the Hotel!"
