"Stayed one night. Room we had was small but for one night was ok, the room was clean but bathroom could do with an upgrade. No soundproofing, could hear everything through the wall. Breakfast was an extra £12.50 each was a fine breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant, lots of choices, great fish and seafoods selection and what we had was lovely. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. We had great service. "

"Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. "

"Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"
