"My stay at this hotel was overall very enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The cleaning lady was phenomenal—I had several conversations with her during my stay, and she was always pleasant whenever I saw her in the hallways. There was also a gentleman at the front desk whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, but he was extremely kind, helpful, and professional. When I first arrived, I wasn’t aware that guests under 25 are required to pay an additional fee. Although this caught me off guard, the staff were very understanding and helped me through the process. One suggestion I would make is to be cautious about telling guests they may be able to arrive before check-in time. Since the hotel was fully booked the night before, no rooms were available when we arrived, which was disappointing. However, the staff accommodated us by allowing us to use the pool while we waited, which was greatly appreciated. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The sheets did have a few minor stains, but nothing serious. The bathroom was clean, and everything else in the room was in good condition. I also enjoyed the amenities the hotel provided. The atmosphere was quiet, organized, and well-managed, and it was clear that the hotel staff takes their rules seriously to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back in the future."

Majestic Hotel & Apartments

"I had been coming to the Majestic Hotel for almost 40 years. I am really impressed with the work the new owners have put into the hotel. The furniture is a big improvement over previous years, and the carpet is all new, which gives the hotel a nice, clean smell. The beds were very comfortable, and I really enjoyed that the dresser had a built-in HDMI port for connecting my Roku to the tv without needing to get behind the tv. The headboards also have power outlets which is a nice touch. Having seen the Majestic go down over the years, I am really impressed with what the new ownership was able to do just over the 2025-2026 winter. I hope they will continue to improve the hotel, there are still some key areas to improve on, such as returning the rocking chairs, adding curtains instead of blinds, a fridge/microwave in every room, and upgrading the doors to modern RFID locks. I also wasn't thrilled about the addition of a $15/day parking fee. All that said, if you were someone who previously stayed there but stopped due to the decline in previous years, I strongly recommend giving the new owners a chance; they've done a lot and I hope they keep improving."
