"This is an older hotel that has been updated and maintained well. I know, because I spent the night here in May 1976! My room was on the 6th floor, elevators are quick, the room was quiet with a king bed, desk, couch, and the usual mini fridge, microwave & Keurig coffee pot. Bed was very comfortable. "I had stayed at the worst La Quinta the night prior (look at my review of the Madison Wisconsin location) so i was really apprehensive about this stay. But i gotta say it was a total 180 friendly staff the 2 guys at the desk were very welcoming, decent mattress and clean room. For the price in a metro city definitely a good deal."
