"We attended a wedding at Friars Carse over 20 years ago and as it was a convenient stop on our way to the highlands, thought we would try it again. I was afraid it may not have aged well but it is actually even better than I remembered. It is a beautiful place to stay, housekeeping is excellent, staff are helpful and discreetly friendly and it is just so relaxing. We stayed in Redwood which I believe is the honeymoon suite and nothing could be more idyllic. Very much looking forward to future...

Secondary glazing meant I heard nothing and slept for 9 hours! The bathroom was brand new by the looks of things too. The Eggs Benedict was lovely too. I’d definitely stay again when I’m back down this way. "
