"Very nice place on the beach within walking distance to anything you may need. Our rooms were upgraded to the apartment upon arrival. The ladies at the front desk were awesome. Very kind and easy to work with. It is a Very nice and spacious accommodation. We also elected the breakfast and dinner option here. He went through everything in fine detail from how tv worked to air conditioning controls. Great rain shower. Usual facilities in room. "The Fortezza is a lovely hotel in a great location within the old town. Nice rooms pool, bar area and the the staff where very helpful. I cant fault the place, if you are visiting Rethymnon i cant think of a better place to stay."

"The owners were amazingly courteous, friendly, and professional. The property was beautiful and clean, and all staff were always willing to help in any way they could. The pool was always refreshing and relaxing, and there was a fully-stocked pool bar for drinks. Meals were served buffet style, and the dining area oversaw the pool. The rooms had either pool view, mountain view, or partial sea view. I would definitely stay here again! <3"
