"This is a nice property with excellent service for a good price. "

"J'aime la tranquillité de cet endroit et la marche en forêt pour se rendre aux bassins thermaux. Par contre, il y avait de la musique non relaxante (reggae) au bar des bains. Je trouve que c'est un endroit ou il devrait y avoir une musique de spa ou de relaxation afin de se détendre."

"I stayed here for a night during my Costa Rica trip. The eco lodge is eco-friendly, the staff was really nice. The peark of staying at the Tirimbina lodge is that you do not have to pay an extra fee for the hikes through the reserve. The place is nice and clean, you are surrounded by nature and that is why I went there. I did the night guided tour and it was thrilling to cross the bridge at night. If you go there, that is a must ! "

"Pierre, our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast omelette while watching birds at the feeding stations. The gardens were very enjoyable. Our air conditioned room with our ensuite bathroom with a fantastic shower was wonderful after bird watching in several sites within a short driving distance. "

"This is not a typical hotel or cabin stay. If you want luxury, keep looking. The food and accommodations are quite basic but serve the purpose. The real bonus about staying here is the great access to being very close to the nature of Costa Rica. "Jorge and family are very gracious hosts. I booked this place partly because I wanted to support family run business. As expected: the lodges are rather rustic: good plumbing - meaning toilet flushed fine, and shower runs, albeit I couldn't figure out how to get hot water out. The knowledge that Jorge and Herman transferred to me made the stay enjoyable: on toucons, on fungi, on bees."
