"The location of this hotel is why we picked it. Half a block from central park and easy walking distance to most Antigua sites we wanted to visit. They property has a beautiful courtyard and rooftop. The wifi worked well and we always had ample hot water. The breakfast was just OK but to be fair we had very excellent local breakfast at 2 prior places we stayed in GT so I am using that as comparison. The hotel has alot of old historic character which was beautiful and they kept everything...

"The place is very nice, close to everything. The staff was beyond helpful. The breakfast was yummy, I had the Guatemalan one. The coolest this was how helpful they were. Even though I had checked out They held onto my luggage in a save place so I didn't have to haul them everywhere. I was able to fo shopping then come back on the evening wait for my transportation for a few hours in the lobby. I will return. Thank you staff!"

"We stayed at Las Farolas at the beginning & end of our Guatemala travels and are very glad we did. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. The standout are the staff, all helpful and friendly. On our last stay I managed to mix up the dates and the hotel was fully booked over the weekend. We were thinking we’d need to change hotels for just one night and come back - not fun! But the wonderful Holly on the front desk had it sorted out so...
