We requested two glasses of ice from the ice maker and were told very emphatically "No!". I requested coffee or tea for the electric water pot in our room, and was very begrudgingly provided tea. "Convenient location next to train station (which in Europe can be a plus and minus), Less than 15 minute walk to anything worth seeing in Grosetto. Very friendly staff helped with early check in. Room is quite plain and could use some updating, but was clean. Bed a bit uneven. Good wifi and tv options. "

"It’s a lovely hotel. Reception was nice and the room very clean with an incredible view out the window of the valley behind. No balcony but a Juliet railing with large opening windows. The breakfast buffet was excellent, self serve with exception of coffee which was served by a very pleasant waiter. Parking is a bit of challenge in a steeply sloped narrow driveway beside the hotel.Take the time to line up the car to go straight through the narrow gate and you’ll be fine. Also very nice sitting area beside the restaurant. "
