"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "Stayed for one night en route to a North Devon holiday. The room was excellent, spacious, clean and well laid out. A very comfy bed meant a good night's sleep. Bathroom even had a bath. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a very good meal. Breakfast was also excellent with a great choice all freshly cooked. Plenty of easy parking and outdoor space. Definitely worth staying and would do so again."

"We received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival. The shower was amazing and after walking a big section of the SWCP it was very welcomed. Sadly we ran out of puff to enjoy the pool (indoor and outside). The ability to park and leave vehicles there was an added benefit. The bar menu offered great choices, and the breakfast was a pleasant treat. I would deffo recommend and be more than happy to return next time I am in the area."
