"Lovely hotel in a perfect location. I booked this hotel for a special occasion and the staff did a fantastic job to make us feel welcome and special. The room was spacious and we had a lovely view of the gardens opposite. I would definitely book to stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend."

"Very friendly staff. Rooms nice, beds really comfortable. Lovely breakfast area and lounge. Two pubs across the road as a change for evening meals as only booked B&B. We were there on a very hot week but had aircon in rooms. Large free car park which is a bonus round York. Bus services along the main road are frequent. No4 from outside Cross Keys pub takes you into centre which is only 1 and half miles. Would definitely stay again if visiting York. "

"Nice hotel, friendly staff, the room has the usual tea/coffee facilities as well as a hair dryer, iron and board. Plenty of space in the accessible room with a huge bathroom with loo and shower. TV was a nice size, bed comfy and the breakfast was really tasty with plenty of choices from cooked (bacon, sausage, scrambled egg etc) to croissants and cereals. Parking is next door in a multi storey and the hotel offers a discount on this once you put your registration into the tablet. We stayed 2...

"No frills hotel in the middle of Leeds. Easy walk from the station and short bus ride to Stylus at Leeds Uni to watch a band. Great value and didn't cost much more than an Uber would have been to go back to Halifax. Check-in was easy, bed and pillows were comfy, air con was efficient and water was hot and powerful. Yes there's not much room round the bed and the bathroom is small but for 1 night it was fine. There was no view and we couldn't open our window but like I said the air con cooled...
