"Lovely place to stay, swimming pool was excellent."

"Having read some less than positive reviews, we were a little bit sceptical about our stay. However, I can say nothing but good things about the hotel, our room, whilst not the biggest was clean, neat and tidy, the bar was lovely as was the dining room and the staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will definitely stay there again. Only downside was the expensive car parking which is operated by a third party on the hotels land"

"This place was nice and the rooms were very comfortable. It was not close to anything though. To go to dinner was a 20 pound taxi drive. I wish I would have paid the extra money to be closer to Edinburgh. The staff was extremely helpful though. And the free breakfast was a PLUS."

Very friendly and welcoming staff, stunning grounds and gardens, excellent breakfast, very nice food in the evening with an outstanding waiter who served me, and as a solo traveller, I felt very safe, welcomed and included. Thank you all for providing service that all hotels in Scotland should, but sadly, don’t! "

"Très jolie place j'aurais voulu rester plus longtemps le domaines est grand avec des sentiers pour marché dans un décor idylliques avec la rivière! Une excellente cuisine et un déjeuner traditionnels écossais exquis! Un jolie bar avec une belle sélection de bons alcools (merci encore a Martin pour ses recommandations qui était délicieux) personnel très sympathique et bienveillant je recommande a tous le monde!! "
