"Good location in centre of Sherborne. Very reasonably priced room and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pub has a car park and is also just 5/10 minutes walk from station. The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable although there was occasional noise from the bar downstairs or outside tables. The Abbey is close by and the clock chimes might bother some. "We wanted a pet friendly hotel and boy, did we get it. Every member of staff treated our little pup like royalty. In the room there was a comfortable bed for her with a towel and 2 blankets along with some bowls but the piece de resistance was a the little bag containing poop bags, treats and a ball. We had a very satisfied little dog in the room but when she saw the outside greenery she was absolutely thrilled as were we. Unlike a lot of hotels where they claim to be dog friendly but then...
