"Where do I start! We stayed here 4 years ago and it was marvellous.it was thriving ,busy, Bustling . This time when we arrived we was told check in your car else you’ll get a fine ( great fair enough.) Then sign in and il take a card off you just in case your room gets trashed! Wow! We’re in our 60’s definitely not rock stars, id rather watch telly than chuck it out of the window! The chap then said it’s so busy here because of the bank holiday ( Monday) that the dining room may not have space...

"Spotless room, cosy and comfortable, shower great, bed very comfortable, we fell asleep resting on top of bed when we first arrived. Tray breakfasts hot coffee, eggs mushrooms perfect, only toast bit burned! Evening meal lovely cooked to perfection really lovely food."

"Swimming pool and spa very relaxing. Garden restaurant pleasant, food average. Breakfast wasn’t explained so we didn’t realise you could order eggs. Bacon was rubbery. Melon all gone by 9am. Pastries could have been fresher. Good tea tray in room. Room was larger than expected. "

"This is a wonderful, historic hotel on the river in Worcester, a 5 pound taxi ride from the Worcester New Shrub train station, and within walking distance to the city's cathedral and central shopping, dining area. The breakfasts couldn't be better, and the restaurant is top notch. My room had a separate living room facing the river with operable French doors and windows."

"Hidden gem. Excellent value accommodation with large bedroom and bathroom featuring quality fittings aligning with the period house. We had a delightful hot breakfast with a great selection of freshly prepared ingredients. Pleasant garden surroundings great to walk around and explore. Ample on-site parking too. "A friendly welcome by the staff and very attentive throughout our stay. Room 8 was excellent with plenty of space and a large bath with separate shower. Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away."
