"Good location. Hotel old and overpriced."

"This is a beach hotel. The rooms were somewhat updated but lacking in amenities and quality furniture. I found the shower to be very narrow and cumbersome to move around. I had breakfast at the restaurant that was good. Yes I understand that there was a recent remodel but the quality level of the remodel was average. I also found the bed uncomfortable and the pillows like rocks. I'm not planning to stay there again"

"The hotel is part of a repurposing of a historic building, and if lovely. The renovation is well-appointed taste tasteful and well-maintained the staff were quite friendly and helpful. The associated restaurant (Dram Yard) was marvelous, with exquisite food offering and a staff that was a joy to deal with. Location was convenient to downtown Wilmington. However, size of the rooms are small, almost more European in design, and there is no elevator between floors. I do love the courtyard. Overall,...

"We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family."

"The condo has amazing views of the ocean- it was a very relaxing condo with comfortable bedding and the kitchen had all that we needed while on vacation. Definitely would reserve this condo again!"

"After climbing 3 flights of of steep exterior stairs with no lighting, we arrived to a unit that had zero cleaning after the previous occupants.We found dirty bed linens piled on floor, a used tissue next to bed, chips and other food and debris on floor throughout the unit, air vents blackened with dirt, dirty towels in the washer, a dirty tub, food crumbs all over the dining table, a dirty refrigerator, a dirty oven, smelly dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and the icing on the cake, spoiled food...
