"My family and I were on our way to Luxembourg and needed a pit stop hotel. The spa was incredible - pool, cold pool, sauna, massage are what we checked out. We booked a junior suite - the room is spacious, the grounds are well kept and quiet, but with signs of life and family friendly. The views are incredible too. I would highly recommend it. Its not far from town so you can easily dine out. My only fuss was about the 16 Euro breakfast for nothing fancy - we didn't choose the option so we went...

A little out of town but if it’s just a rest stop you need then it’s ideal. "This place is a perfect base to explore Reims . We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . This seemed a very walkable and safe city and the Mercure is a nice easy , cost effective hotel to use as a base for a visit . "
