"Ein sehr tolles Hotel, mit sehr gutem Service und einem guten Restaurant. Die Lage ist abgelegen und dadurch sehr ruhig, direkt an einem See. Die Anlage ist typisch britisch, könnte eine Modernisierung vertragen, aber alles in allem eine tolle Unterkunft. "

"This beautiful hotel would benefit from having a ‘Scottish ‘theme to it . Obviously this is just a personal view, but its attempt to modernise has removed the authentic character of the building. The dining room felt rather like a school dining room with tables lined up in exact straight rows. No table cloths, no curtains, just blinds which made the room very noisy & rather unwelcoming. "

"We booked this hotel at the last minute rather than going into Glasgow. It's unique. Hard to describe really. Our apartment not only had a kitchen and three bathrooms, but also a fully functioning sauna. the rugs were a bit dingy but overall it was amazing. the staff could not be more helpful or pleasant. "We had a great time, room was clean, tidy and spacious. Our boys loved the bunk beds . There were plenty of books, games and activities to do while we wer in the room. The owner was very helpful and always available to answer any queries . We had a great time "
