"Very comfortable and convenient hotel. Easy to walk to from the railway station. Easy also to walk onto York centre to do tourist attractions. Loved the restaurant on the roof terrace. The downstairs restaurant was also excellent for dinner and for breakfast. We paid a little more for a club room which had a generous seating area and a city view."

"The hotel is is a great location and on a quiet street. Staff were very friendly and the room was lovely, a good size, very clean and with a really nice bathroom. Breakfast was good with lots of options. I would definitely recommend it. "

The hotel facilities also did not disappoint - the spa was a good way to start the day, whilst the food in the restaurant was of a high standard. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back if we are ever in the area again"
