"Clean comfortable room. The lighting was tricky(I’m not familiar with inserting your key card into a slot in order to activate electricity). An explanation would have been helpful. The front desk staff was not particularly helpful with transportation issues. In addition staff throughout the hotel - front desk, restaurant, bar - were very superior in attitude, appeared bothered by questions, not particularly friendly.
Breakfast, restaurant food and service, housekeeping, room conditions were all...
"Stunning location. Was hoping to visit the gardens but there was a private function taking place, which was a shame. Felt well looked after with cases taken to the room and an offer of valet parking. Swimming pool complex with jacuzzi and sauna and gym was good. Breakfast excellent. A very pleasant stay."
"breakfast was great, and the staff was nice, but there was no view, no pool, and Jacuzzi and steamroom were additional, all the activities are additional. I thought it was a little pricey for what you got. They were not even any Q-tips lol"
"Eine nette Unterkunft, bei der man das Abendmenü nicht auslassen sollte. Man sitzt mit allen Gästen an einer großen Tafel und kann beim Smalltalk über Gott und die Welt philosophieren."
"Can’t say enough good things about this property! The location on the lake is fabulous and it is on the way to Connemara National Park and the coast. The two sitting rooms with fireplaces were a welcome refuge after a day of hiking and sightseeing . We were able to walk by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. "Highlight of our trip! Beautiful hotel, amazing art collection on all the walls, great bar with excellent food (also the best dining of our weeks in Ireland), numerous comfortable lounges and outdoor areas to sit and walk…. I hope we’ll return"
"Noreen and Michael were excellent hosts who were willing to go the extra step to make our stay special and made us feel at home straight away. Thoroughly enjoyed the continental breakfast which set us up for the day's adventure. The BnB is an easy 10 minute walk into town to enjoy some local food, drink and music."
