"This was our first time in Crete, and the Olive Green Hotel was the perfect place to stay. It's very centrally located, near the ferry docks, the airport, and numerous historical sites and museums. "It was lovely to wake to a sea view after our late flight. Unfortunately there were some youths who wanted to make a fair bit of noise, some on motorbikes, which woke me several times. Breakfast had lots of choice and was tasty. Unfortunately no lunch. Surroundings are in many places old and photogenic, the Venetian wall something special "

"Love the hotel, chilled out music playing during the day, pool area does get busy at weekends but not oppressive. Really great food in the restaurant here, definitely recommend going half board. Hersonissis for me isn’t somewhere I would visit again, I don’t like the vibe in the strip. However, Koutouloufari is a ten minute walk from this hotel and is wonderful. The staff at the hotel are really very nice, Erika in particular is a great host and an asset to this hotel."
