There was a little gecko in our room and a few little critters outside our cabin that scurried around on the roof waking us up in the night (but we didn’t mind). We didn’t swim in the pool because it looked a little milky. Overall I still loved this property and would stay again. "

"Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. "The staff was very friendly and the yoga session conducted for us in the morning is very good. The yoga instructor makes a real effort to help us learn yoga. Food was nice and the rooms were clean. Overall, it is a great place to relax and spend a weekend. I would definitely return to this hotel again. "

"This is a stunning resort, with excellent service and beautiful surroundings. It's a shame that the tourist industry in Sri Lanka is suffering but everyone is very welcoming and we were grateful for the peace and quiet at anilana. The beach bungalow we stayed in was exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable. We had an amazing view of the ocean from our bed!
