"food in the restaurant was average but the customer service was excellent. our coffee machine didn't work so i asked reception for some sachets instead but they didn't arrive. my husband got trapped in the bathroom as the door came off the roller/runner as he shut it, luckily |I forgot my headphones so came back to the room and managed to hook the door back on....if this had been a solo traveller they could have been stuck until the maid came in the next day... it may be an idea to put the phone in the bathroom!"

"Very outdated building! Room, furniture and TV were all old! Room cleanliness was not very good, as there were stains in the carpet and molding growing the in the bathroom. Immediately upon arrival in the room there was a bad smell! Did not see one housekeeper or cart while there. Location of hotel was a positive though!"

"The room was narrow and not very easy to access, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. Moving around with luggage felt quite inconvenient due to the limited space. Breakfast was also a disappointment. The selection was quite basic and the quality didn’t really meet expectations, although it was still acceptable for a short stay."

"Lovely stay at The International Hotel, Killarney. Clean and comfortable updated room. Beautiful property with various sitting areas to enjoy. Great service at reception and lunch at Hannibal’s. Perfect location by the park, restaurants and cafes."

"Expected more from a 4 star. Bedroom window was broken, not closing fully and as a result the room was cold, had to use a towel to block out the draft. Spacewise the room was small for a family room, ok if just adults or older kids. Breakfast had the basics."
