"Very nice hotel in a great central location. Staff is excellent and very helpful. We stayed over one week so the breakfast seemed a bit lacking, exact same items every day. Other than that, excellent place to stay in Kyoto."

"Breakfast had a small selection of food options, cleaned up the food area before time and before all guest left. I would not recommend breakfast here. Lounge area was acceptable and provided adult beverages as well. Receptionist front counter staff were very helpful and kind. Laundry service was acceptable and staff help to learn the process. "

ALERT - I stayed at 4 other hotels on my trip to Japan and all were booked on Expedia yet this was the only hotel that charged me the city tax during checkin in addition to what I paid on Expedia, not sure why only this hotel did it, average of 1000 yen per night "
