"Our stay here was pleasant. And we got a quiet room on the 1st floor. Some wear and tear in the woodwork could do with fixing or touch ups. The lightin in our room was quite dark. One of the light fixtures was very dim so had to rely on the lamps. But wasnt really a bother. Great location for visitng surrounding towns and great distance to some nice picturesque towns in the cotswolds. "Our stay was perfect and we look forward to staying there again. They were in the process of renovating some parts of the hotel when we stayed there and we were able to stay in one of the new rooms. It was fabulous. The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel is walking distance of the Roman baths and the Jane Austen center and a lot of great restaurants and shops. "
