"The hotel is in a very convenient and central location. The hotel is unique in its own ways and as it was built over a historic site. Rooms are big and comfortable where mini-bar is all provided for. The interesting part of the hotel is that to get to certain parts of the hotel rooms (in my case which is on floor 1), you have to go to 3rd floor, walk across a long walkway of rooms before reaching a bar area in order to head down another 2 floors to get to my room. Kinda of inconvenient...

"Very friendly and helpful reception and housekeeping staff. Sublime apartment. Odd breakfast experience for such a prestigious establishment. Advised that there was no fried eggs but could have scrambled? Extra cost for a second cup of coffee. Had an issue with being charged for our stay on my Debit card on arrival without my knowledge although I had already paid for it prior to arrival through a third party. However when this came to light the issue was dealt with quickly and efficiently....

It’s really close to everything including the old town, the castle and Princes street garden. But the kitchens smells bad, probably the fridge. The rooms smells like mold and I’m allergic… and there was some others hair all over the bathroom. I think what bothered us the most though was that there was absolutely NO HEAT....
