"This was our fifth time here, and it continues to be our favorite place to visit in Cancun. The staff is truly exceptional and always makes us feel welcome. The kids club was amazing—Amaia absolutely loves it! A special thank you to Cristina, Isabella, and all the wonderful staff for taking such great care of my daughter. Every restaurant we visited was fantastic. Shoutout to Johny and Norberto at Lizzo, and to Humberto, Margaito, and Mari at the Market for making breakfast such a great experience. Also, thank you to the Aquabar bartender for making delicious smoothies for my girls. We truly appreciate the kindness and outstanding service from everyone. Looking forward to coming back again! "I recently stayed at SLS Playa Mujeres and unfortunately left very disappointed overall. For a property marketed as a five-star luxury resort, too many details were missed, and in hospitality, the small details are what separate a true luxury experience from an average one. One of my biggest frustrations was not being informed upfront about the “elite” upgrade package option. Whether intentional or not, it created the feeling that there was always another tier you were expected to pay for in order to get the “real” experience. Even then, from what I could tell, the differences didn’t seem substantial enough to justify it. The room details were surprisingly underwhelming. For a family of four, the snack setup consisted of a single pack of Skittles and two small packs of Chips Ahoy. That may sound minor, but those are exactly the types of thoughtful touches guests expect from a luxury resort — and they were simply absent here. The food was mediocre at best, and nearly every dining experience felt designed to push expensive upgrades. You already pay a premium to stay at the resort, yet somehow you constantly feel nickel-and-dimed. One dinner ended up costing me $250 for a steak and another $300 for a bottle of wine. By the end of the trip, I had spent more on meal “add-ons” than the actual cost of my four-day, three-night stay. The price gouging was excessive and honestly left a bad taste in my mouth. Paid for ocean view, got a view of the pool Useless butler Nothing done for birthdays Supposed to be adults only, not true. Asked about allergies and restrictions....everyday they gave me something on the restriction list."

"The room was lovely and well stocked with drinks and small snacks. As well as a plate of fresh fruit and champagne for being an Expedia gold member. The mattress and pillows were super comfy. The biggest perks were the staff and the property. Everyone was so helpful and kind and the entire place was absolutely pristine. There were always plenty of loungers available at the pools and the beach. I do wish they had more permanent shade options on the beach as it was too windy for the umbrellas and I got crazy burnt, but I didn't want to miss out on the beach!"
