"My arranged hotel transfer was not present on my arrival. After a call to the hotel and 15 min I was enroute to the hotel. As I was on an early morning flight - I used the spa showers to freshen up. They told me they’d message me in wats app when my room was ready. No messages and back to hotel at 4pm only to be told room still not ready. Impossible I said as checkin time was 3pm. "Wonderful luxurious stay at this 5-star property near Bo Kaap in central Cape Town. Delicious food especially at the top SA restaurant, Urchin. There was a mix up at check in but it was corrected by staff by the time I had finished dinner. Like all areas of Cape Town CBD, it may be uncomfortably with some people asking for money. Unfortunately there’s a wide economic disparity between the haves and have-nots."
