I was on a business trip which I indicated when making reservation and my meetings were in the city of SANTAREM. The hotel though beautiful & charming was 1/2 hour away from the city I needed to be at and driving through very narrow and winding roads in a mountainous terrain.
It should mention on the site that this is in the middle of a forest at the top of the mountain and the location is actually Amiais de Cima, not Santarem, if anyone is using GPS which is required to find the location of...

Our stay at Montebelo Mosteiro de Alcobaça Historic Hotel was exceptional. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, combining history with comfort and elegance. It is truly a 5 star hotel with excellent service! The staffs are very friendly. The hotel provides a complementary morning and afternoon walking tours. Happy Hours every afternoon. Tons of snacks and drinks in the lobby and on every floor. Free midnight snacks. Unlimited drinks in the room. They also provide a bottle of wine and trays of cheese or chocolate strawberries to our room. Breakfast are sundown and served with a cheese tray and fruit tray. We very much enjoyed our stay there.

We cannot say enough about the Andaz Lisbon. The staff was attentive and incredibly helpful. The hotel has a swanky, elevated boutique feel, and the rooms were comfortable and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated and so inviting. And the location was EVERYTHING! Perfect for exploring Lisbon. Highly recommend — we will definitely be back.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. Very clean and well-maintained. This stuff is very nice and helpful. Restaurant is great for breakfast and OK for dinner. The only minus is that the check in is at 3 PM which may be difficult for people arriving in the morning.
