Lake Oconee Lake Front Cabin+Private Dock+Fire Pit+Fireplace+AMAZING VIEWS!
10/10 Excellent
"Host was an excellent communicator. The property is perfect. It has to be one of the nicer lots on the lake. All one needs is the dock. The host has all kinds of water sport toys for use. The cabin was very nice and had everything needed for cooking. We had many great meals that we cooked ourselves. All beds were very comfortable. All rooms were spacious and accommodating. The showers were very modern and comfortable. There was a bonus screened in porch with ceiling fans. The grill and smoker was perfect. The smoker is gas and is very easy to use. We spent 14 days at this place. I have zero negative comments."
"This piece of heaven was just what we needed---to be in the country surrounded by nature and staying in the most adorable place ever! The Hobbit House was so quiet and cozy and allowed my husband and I to completely get away from it all! The home is so unique and well conceived. We loved the comfortable king bed, the great kitchen plus the jacuzzi in the bathroom and all the hidden surprises everywhere! We were given a golf cart to use during our stay to fully explore the acreage. It was such fun going along the trails, of which there were many! We enjoyed meeting all of the beautiful horses and the donkey! We floated on rafts in the serene lake which was wonderful! Coming back to take an outdoor shower was also a unique delight! Randy, the owner, was extremely friendly and kind and very responsive when we had questions. The four days on the property truly fed our soul and was just what we needed. We hope to be back again in this hidden jewel! The Hobbit House will be forever imbedded in our memories as being a true experience in every way. Thank you to Randy and your family for so generously sharing your property with us!"
