"The pictures are accurate but don’t do the property justice. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed our morning visits from a flock of turkeys walking the grounds. We cooked several meals and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Great location and host. "

"What a fabulous family vacation home! After tubing, ziplining, Cades Cove, Dollywood, jumping off rocks at the Wye and the Sinks, riding horses at Davy Crockett stables, and exploring Tuckaleechee Caverns, our family returned to the beautiful Bear Den Lodge to enjoy the wonderful mountain views, the hot tub, the game room, the fire pit, the pool/fitness center, and the expansive decks that connected us to the sights, sounds, and wildlife of the Smokies! Kurt and Jill even surprised us with fresh apple pies one afternoon! Their cabin is welcoming in every way! There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children (ages 10, 5, 5, 3) to enjoy each other for the entire week! The kitchen is well-stocked, the large island accomodated our large family, the living areas are inviting, the four bathrooms and large showers made bedtime easy, the bunk beds made sleeping with cousins special, and the decks made a cups of coffee in the morning and glasses of wine at night a perfect start and end to your day! Kurt quickly responded to our emails from booking to checkout and sincerely wanted us to enjoy our stay. Do not hesitate to book this outstanding lodge...We all agreed it was the best rental we have ever had, and it deserves a rating of 10!"
