Situated only a short stroll to the magnificent white sands of the Port Willunga swimming beach and renowned Star of Greece Restaurant. With McLaren Vale only a short drive away, you can access a large selection of cafes, restaurants, art galleys and the world’s best wineries. Shell Cottage is the ideal holiday or short getaway destination any time of the year.

This is such a beautiful property with all amenities you need for a relaxing stay by the beach.I love relaxing with a glass of wine on the deck or catching the winter sunshine as I read the paper in the garden.The kitchen is fully equipped and the bedrooms are so cosy.

A lovely stay

We had a very nice stay at Shell Cottage. The cottage is lovely and the hosts were very good communicators and welcoming both to us and our two cocker spaniels. The back deck is made for pleasant outside meals. We would love to stay again.

Beautiful property

Shell Cottage was the perfect accommodation - clean and cosy and well looked after. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Port Willunga. Walking distance to the Star of Greece was a plus!

Lovely getaway

Great location, close to beautiful Pt Willunga beach and a variety of places to eat. The cottage is beautifully presented, very clean and everything is supplied to create a comfortable home away from home. Excellent communication from the hosts, making us feel welcome.

Great winter getaway

Stayed for 5 nights in June. House was spotless, had all you need and very cosy. Lovely garden, especially the little sheltered front seating area, a real winter sun trap. Only a few minutes walk from beach access and lots to explore!

Sweet little cottage

I love the whole vibe of this beautiful beach cottage. The gardens are lovely and are home to so many birds. The outdoor deck is perfect on a summer night.

The property provides a comfortable and private retreat and is lacking for nothing. The only hiccup remains the driveway and lack of designated parking due to the garden.It is so difficult to unpack vehicles as doors cannot be accessed fully and with pets, luggage etc it is the one and only negative that could be easily fixed.

Fantastic family stay

Thoughtfully laid out, clean, neat, modern and well equipped home made this an easy place to stay with our family including our dog. Walking distance to Port Willunga beach and lovely back deck and bbq area adds to the great value rental. Excellent communication and very accomodating hosts. Highly recommended.

Homely cottage.

Very comfortable well appointed cottage. In particular the kitchen was generously stocked. Very helpful and responsive owners. Added bonus was our dogs were accommodated. Will be happy to revisit.

Perfectly relaxing

We had a really gorgeous stay here thank you. The house was immaculate and really tastefully decorated with high end bedding to make for a dreamy night's sleep. We enjoyed our complimentary bottle of wine on the front porch & our dogs were super happy in the tranquil garden. A short walk to the beach & close to all of the wonderful attractions in the area, we would highly recommend this gorgeous little cottage.

Perfect stay in Port Willunga

Shell Cottage is the perfect place to stay for a holiday in Port Willunga. It is a street back from the ocean and a 5 minute drive to all shops and cafes. The house itself is beautiful, with all the amenities you could ask for! It is perfect for your dog too, with a large enclosed garden. Thank you for an awesome stay Sian and Ed! Perfect winter weekend

We had an amazing weekend staying at Shell Cottage. It was so beautifully decorated and there was not one thing that was overlooked. Staying on a wet, windy winters weekend, the fireplace was a perfect way to stay warm indoors. It felt comfortable, cozy and like a home away from home. I’d give 10 stars if I could!

Perfect get away

Shell Cottage is a perfectly renovated cottage within walking distance of the famous Star of Greece and the walkway along the Esplanade. The interior decor is beautifully presented and everything we needed was waiting for us. Organic sprays and hand washes made it a very pleasant stay. Driveway is rather narrow but still accessible. Loved it here and highly recommended.

Time together in port Willunga

Pet friendly was needed to take our little dog dukie along on this holiday. Area was fenced well except for front gate didn’t close properly. Very comfortable interior and BBQ area good - property requires a clean clothes line and new pegs as there is no clothes dryer
