"I can’t say enough positive things about Anthemis and the staff, the place is located in an amazing area, breakfast was served in our balcony every morning, Eirini has the information for everything you need, she helped us arrange a car rental delivery to the hotel (unbeatable price) and even offered to go get medicine for my son who got sick during our trip. "The room was very large and so beautiful! We enjoyed the private pool and lounge area as well as the shared portion of the property. The staff was super friendly and helpful and would check up on us often to make sure everything was well. The property has a restaurant at the top of the hill that has amazing food and the most gorgeous view of Oia!"

"Great space, walkable to Fira, has a shop across the road where you can get drinks, snacks and souvenirs Has the best sunset views so no need to travel. My only thing would be it needs an umbrella or some sort of shade option for the balcony/pool area. Also the pool was not inviting and didn’t feel nice to sit in with all the peeling paint. This was a real let down for the money that we paid "

"We had a wonderful stay at Avaton Resort & Spa. The views from the hotel are absolutely magnificent, especially during sunset. Watching the sun go down over the caldera was one of the highlights of our trip. The location is also excellent, with beautiful walking paths nearby and within walking distance of Skaros Rock, making it easy to enjoy some of the most scenic hikes in Santorini.
