The ancient olive tree of Ano Vouves is one of the oldest olive trees in the world. Estimates at between 2000 and 4000 years old. Incredibly, it still produces olives. There is a small olive museum nearby, and a shop which sells locally produced olive oil.

The village is most accessible by car.
