"Very happy with the hotel. Staff helpful, room clean and walk in shower good. No lift but staff took suitcase up two floors to room. Plenty of free public parking if we couldn’t get into hotel car park. Seven minutes walk to Alnwick Gardens and Castle."
Bailiffgate Hotel

"Mum and I had a lovely 2 night stay at the Bailiffgate hotel. The hotel was beautifully appointed and clean. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The food was really good and the staff attentive. Our twin room was clean and perfect for a 2 night stay. I’d definitely recommend this hotel."

"This was a very convenient stopover for me travelling back from Orkney. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was also taking the opportunity to visit Barter Books - The Oaks is just a 5 min walk up the road and oh so convenient !!"

"Loved the quirky style and hot tub. Really lovely bedding and towels. Less happy to have the breakfast delivered 2 hours early!"

"First time staying here. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room nice, bed comfortable. Typical Pub room really. Good value for money. Very handy for all of Alnwick and the castle."
