"a reasonable property that is very well located for all amenities in this lovely town. the couch was a little low to the ground for us as we have problems with our knees ( old age catching up ) and carrying the luggage up the stairs made me breathless ( my fault as I should have checked this before booking ), but the flat was comfortable and we had an excellent time. "This property is just as described. It has great views over the birding sanctuary. While it is a bit out of town, it is close enough to explore this coast easily and have a quiet place to relax in between excursions. There is a lift to the first floor where the apartment is and there are stairs inside the apartment to the living and kitchen area. The small bathroom has a shower and the larger bathroom has a tub. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others."

"Lodge was easy to find and access from email instructions. Love the decor/styling. Kitchen was well kitted out and a great shower. Good TV, comfy sofa. Small secure outdoor space was fine for small dog to potter out. Highly recommend for a couple. Very handy for town centre, Alnwick Castle and parkrun Heaters seems to constantly click loudly so options were a disrupted sleep or being a bit cold overnight. Parking would be tricky in peak season but <5mins walk. "

"Pretty easy place to find. Getting up to the upper lodge can be a challenge for people with mobility issues. The lodge is a wonderful quirky olde worlde place. All the rooms were unexpectedly spacious. The kitchen had all the utensils you need for self catering and plenty of space in the kitchen/dining area. The bedroom had plenty of storage, an unexpected sofa and a very comfortable bed. The separate bathroom was more than adequate but I found the toilet flush to be temperamental. The lounge...

"Great location, lovely room, great bedding and towels. We were on the first floor of Coble Cottage, adjacent to the Inn. Bathroom layout was ok but a bit more thought could have improved it by having a longer shower tray (the full length of the wall), the toilet next to it and the hand basin at the door end (the door was at an angle which made the toilet feel cramped). Reasonable breakfast choice but would have liked a broader range of fresh fruit - only apple chunks and pineapple chunks to have with the yoghurt. Good cooked selection, various breads for toasting, mini croissants and pain au chocolat. I would definitely recommend and would stay again."

"Absolutely lovely hotel. Spotlessy clean, with polite and very hardworking staff. Parking is free with plenty of spaces. We ate evening meal and breakfast in the hotel, and found the food to be excellent, and reasonably priced. It is about 20 minutes walk to the little town of Amble. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely visit again if we are in the area. "
