"On arrival at the Hawk Inn I was greeted in a very polite and friendly manner. Booking in was extremely simple, I love the express booking in before arrival. My room was lovely, clean, warm and comfortable. Nice touches such as mini fridge for drinking water and some fresh milk instead of little milk jiggers. And delicious homemade shortbread instead of plastic wrapped mini selection. There was also a nespresso machine in case you didn’t fancy the instant type plus tea bags. Bathroom had a great shower with some very nice soap etc. Towels, lovely and thick, bliss. Breakfast is an option that I would recommend. Full English to Shakushka, great continental range of pastry, all served by an extremely pleasant and helpful server. Checkout was a breeze. I have nothing but praise for all the team members, and would love to stay there again."

"I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. "The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests: - Room ("the family room"): because it was directly above the pub, we could hear music clearly through the floor until the pub closed. This did not bother us. The room was snug with the sofabed mattress open. Beds were comfortable, room was clean - The Expedia listing explicitly said that breakfast was not included in the price, but the George Inn provided us with a beautiful breakfast spread: fresh berries, yogurt, juice, coffee & tea, and a full entree off of their breakfast menu. It was a really nice surprise!"
